The 2026 motto is “Cool Solutions at the Workplace”, highlighting the daily heat-related burdens faced by employees and encouraging the joint development of strategies to better protect this target group.

There are two ways to actively participate:
1. Plan an activity around 9 June 2026 (e.g. public engagement activities, workshops, webinars, etc.)
- Activities can, but do not have to, align directly with the 2026 motto – creativity is very welcome.
- If you have questions or ideas, please contact Raphaela Maier (raphaela.maier(at)uni-graz.at), who coordinates activities within the PB Climate Change.
- In 2025, the Wegener Center organized guided tours of urban heat hotspots with school students. This concept was very well received and will be repeated this year. If you are interested in contributing, feel free to get in touch.
